The art of a seamless wall is to work the stones, some of them weighing hundreds of kilos, in such a way that (almost) no joints and no more mortar can be seen. Years of experience and special tools are necessary for this stone processing.

In a joint wall, the art is to create a consistently even joint width or mortar joint between the uneven stones. For this, the stones must be sorted and carved very carefully.

The drywall is completely without mortar or other binder. It is manufactured according to an old technology that is passed on from generation to generation and requires a high level of experience. The trick is to wedge the stones so that the wall supports itself.
